Acoustic Echo Cancellation with Integrated Phone-Add

The EF600 is designed to easily handle the audio aspects of a video conference, including acoustic echo cancellation between rooms and "phone add" operation. It is comprised of our EF400 Acoustic Echo Canceller and the EF200 Phone add. The EF600 provides superior audio quality for all types of conferences, and may be operated remotely via your room controller.

While the EF600 has always had noise cancellation on the phone add section, it now includes our proprietary noise cancellation algorithm (patent pending)on the acoustic echo canceller section as well. The addition of this algorithm means that ambient background noise in the room, such as HVAC, projector fans or rumble, is digitally removed prior to transmission. The result is audio that is cleaner than you thought possible!

  • Simultaneous 2-wire (telephone) and 4-wire (codec) operation
  • Digital phone add and AEC adapt automatically, without noise bursts or tones
  • AEC operates at higher room gain levels than other systems (up to +10dB)
  • Complete RS232 control for operation through your room controller, including dialing out
  • Switchable Mic / Line input
  • Built-in Caller ID feature allows conference moderator to see who is calling in (requires activation of service from your phone company)
  • AEC provides fast 30dB/second convergence and long tail time of 200 msec for solid operation even in challenging rooms
  • "Privacy" mode permits private conversations with the party on the telephone or people in the room
  • Easy to install and calibrate
  • Compatible with GT724™ software (see below)
