Add Phone Calls to Your Teleconference
The EF200 is designed to quickly and quietly add / remove a phone call to audio equipment in a video conference, permitting all parties to hear one another with "full duplex" clarity. The EF200 uses specialized DSP circuitry to prevent feedback or hollow sounding audio on the phone call. In addition, our proprietary noise cancellation algorithm (patent pending) provides a level of intelligibility and clarity never before available in a phone add. By reducing static, hiss, road noise and other recurring sounds, all calls — even to other countries — can sound clean and clear.The EF200 provides RS232 control for operation through your room controller, including dialing out to a remote location.
- Direct connection to a standard (dial-up) phone line; an attendant telephone set connects to the EF200
- Easily connects to an acoustic echo canceller (such as the EF400, EF1210 or the Vortex® EF2280) or other four-wire system to add phone calls to meetings or classes
- Built-in DTMF dialer and detector
- Built-in Caller ID feature allows conference moderator to see who is calling in (requires activation of Caller ID service from your phone company)
- Connection is quiet, non-distracting to others in the conference. User-set "entry" and "exit" tones give you the option to hear a pleasant tone when someone enters or leaves the conference
- "Privacy" mode for private conversations with the party on the phone line or people in the room
- Up to 32 units may be linked to form a simple conference bridge
- LED bargraphs on the front panel provide indication of audio levels and system operation
- AGC (Automatic Gain Control) on both the receive and transmit audio paths
